The Australian Psychedelic Society (APS) is a grassroots, community-based not-for-profit. We strongly support the decriminalisation and informed use of psychedelics.
A large amount of our work involves advocacy and changing narratives around psychedelics. This includes raising awareness and educating our community (including policymakers, health professionals, and the general public) about the potential health benefits and risks when using these medicines, whether they are used recreationally, for mental health, physical health, spiritual development, consciousness exploration or other reasons.
We hope that in creating communities across Australia we can better advocate for the decriminalisation of psychedelics and reduce stigma associated with their use.
